Tesla’s battery partner Panasonic is starting series production of 4680 battery cells. The plant in Wakayama, Japan, has been remodelled for this purpose. According to the company, it will now act as a ‘mother factory’ for the new cells and thus serve as a blueprint for other plants. Read more…
