The Belgian public transport company De Lijn has awarded contracts for a total of 290 new electric buses to BYD, Iveco and VDL. The largest contract was awarded to the manufacturer BYD with 140 electric buses. With additional funding from the government, De Lijn plans to order 500 more electric buses this year. Read more…
