The Chinese car manufacturer Chery uses large round cells from the Korean supplier LG Energy Solution (LGES). Over the next six years, LGES will supply Chery Automobile with a total of 8 GWh of its cylindrical battery cells with a diameter of 46 millimetres – enough for around 120,000 electric cars.
