Volkswagen is moving even closer to its battery partner Gotion High-tech in Europe: The battery cell factory under construction by VW subsidiary PowerCo in Sagunto, Spain, will become a joint venture project. In return, Gotion is opening the door for Volkswagen on battery projects in Slovakia and Morocco. Whether the mega-deal will go ahead now depends on the relevant authorities. Read more…
