General Motors is stepping back onto European grounds, and it’s doing it in style. It’s making an entrance with the Cadillac Lyriq, a premium electric SUV, confidently priced at CHF 82,000 (equivalent to about €83,600). Volvo and Renault join forces on electric van development

Today, Renault Group and Volvo Group announced plans for a new joint venture tasked to create next-generation of electric vans and address a growing demand for zero-emissions light commercial vehicles. Tesla’s response to missing its delivery target in Q3 it to discount its two most sought-after models in its home market. Polestar reports 13,900 EVs sold in the last quarter

Former Swedish performance brand, now EV maker Polestar just unveiled its Q3 sales report and the numbers are looking good. The company moved a total of 13,900 vehicles in the past three months, which is a huge 50% growth compared to the same period last year. Toyota and LG Energy agree on a major battery supply deal in the US

Ford posts record-breaking EV sales in Q3

Ford’s Q3 numbers are out and they bring good news from the EV division. In the third quarter of 2023, Ford enjoyed a 14% spike in EV sales compared to the same period of 2022. In exact figures, Ford dispatched 20,962 electric vehicles in Q3, which is a leap from 18,257 in the preceding year. Ultium-based EVs are gaining traction, GM’s Q3 2023 financial report shows

GM’s Ultium EV platform is finally starting to pick up speed. The latest report by the company reveals EV sales are still a small fraction of the company’s total sales volume – this quarter, companies under the GM umbrella delivered 20,094 EVs compared to the 674,336 total sales.
