Bogotá receives first locally produced electric buses

Colombia’s capital Bogotá has integrated electric buses into its public transport system TransMiZonal for the first time, with these buses being locally produced—at least in large part. Australia’s Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) is committing AUD 100 million (about 60 million euros) to accelerate EV adoption among Australian households and small-to-medium-sized enterprises, in partnership with Volkswagen Financial Services Australia (VWFS). Lloyd’s Register (LR) has secured a contract with Echo Marine Group to support the delivery of Western Australia’s first fully electric passenger ferries. BMW unveils entry-level iX3 RWD with €63,400 price tag

BMW is expanding the lineup of its new iX3 with the rear-wheel-drive iX3 40. The new variant undercuts the all-wheel-drive version by €7,500, with prices in Germany starting at €63,400; pricing for other markets has not yet been announced. Spanish public transport operator EMT Madrid plans to put a total of 120 new electric buses into operation by mid-2027.
