Norway’s new car market maintains 98% EV share

Norway registered 15,210 new electric cars in May out of a total of 15,560 new passenger car registrations, corresponding to an EV share of 97.8 per cent. Since the start of the year, battery-electric vehicles have accounted for a full 98 per cent of all new registrations in the country. Volkswagen has closed external access to a programming interface (API) that enabled EV owners to use third-party applications to monitor charging status and start or control charging processes.
