Luxeed will begin pre-sales of updated editions of the S7 sedan and R7 coupe SUV on August 8, with official launch expected in September.
All models will be equipped with Huawei’s ADS 4 smart driving system and come standard with a 192-channel roof-mounted LiDAR.

In the large SUV segment, the Onvo L90 ranked third in insurance registrations last week, behind Huawei-backed Aito M8 and Aito M9.
Onvo is continuing to accelerate production and delivery speeds, with its Hefei factory operating at full capacity and working overtime, said William Li.

Nio Inc, including the Nio, Onvo, and Firefly brands, had 7,930 insurance registrations in China last week, up 58.60 percent from 5,000 the previous week.
Tesla saw a 3.77 percent increase in insurance registrations in China last week compared to the previous week’s 10,620.
