China NEV retail at 720,000 in Feb, down 3% from Jan, preliminary CPCA data show
In February, China’s retail sales of all passenger vehicles were 1,397,000 units, up 26 percent year-on-year, but 22 percent lower than in January.
So far this year, cumulative wholesale sales of passenger NEVs in China totaled 1.732 million units, up 49 percent year-on-year.

Hefei offers subsidies on car purchases available only for battery swap-enabled models
Those who buy Nio models on or before March 31 can take advantage of these subsidies.
For the Nio brand, the subsidies range from RMB 6,000 ($830) to RMB 10,000, and for the Onvo brand, RMB 2,000.
BYD to officially launch Qin L EV pure electric sedan on Mar 12
The Qin L EV all-electric sedan is based on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 Evo and have a range of 545 km.
BYD will launch the Qin L EV at its Shenzhen headquarters, with an event set to begin at 7:30 pm Beijing time on March 12.
Xpeng makes entry into more European markets
Xpeng has entered Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, with sales scheduled to begin in the second quarter.

China Feb NEV wholesale at 840,000, down 5% from Jan, CPCA estimates show
In February, China’s passenger NEV wholesale sales were estimated at 840,000 units, up 82 percent year-on-year, but 5 percent lower than in January.
The higher year-on-year growth was mainly due to the fact that last year’s Chinese New Year holidays were all in February, while this year the holidays ran from January 28 to February 4.
