Wärtsilä to supply propulsion for electric ferries in San Francisco Bay.
Wärtsilä has been contracted to supply the propulsion systems for three all-electric high-speed ferries to be deployed in San Francisco Bay. These will be the first all-electric high-speed ferries to be built and operated in the US. Chinese government attempts to limit inland price wars
The Chinese government is getting involved in the wave of discounts for electric cars triggered by BYD. The German car subscription provider Finn has concluded a framework agreement with BYD for the delivery of up to 5,000 vehicles over the next ten months.
