Volvo EM90 interior teases a ‘Scandinavian living room’ experience

Volvo has began the hype campaign for its all-electric minivan, the EM90. As official unveiling nears, Volvo delivered a glimpse into the interior, which it says is a “Scandinavian living room” on wheels. The EM90’s stretches out over a length of 5,206 mm, a width of 2,024 mm, and a height of 1,859 mm. This size not only gives it a commanding presence on the road but also enables a spacious cabin that is the most expansive Volvo has ever offered. Moulding method for pack covers


Materials firm Sabic has successfully moulded an EV battery pack top cover using low-pressure injection moulding (writes Nick Flaherty).
The trial of the process is part of Sabic’s Bluehero initiative to show the manufacturability of large EV battery components using thermoplastic injection moulding.
This specific form of injection moulding caters to the large size and functionality of the top cover, and is a new approach for the high-volume production needs of the future for EVs. More…
