Chevrolet Equinox EV starts at €33K and promises 513 km range

Chevrolet’s Equinox EV is an electric crossover with an estimated 513 km of range. It faced several delays, but today the company finally delivered a rollout roadmap suggesting all the kinks are finally ironed out. Chevrolet initially dangled the promise of a €28,000 electric vehicle, but that has been bumped to €32,610. Still, if you factor in the generous €7,000 federal tax credit, the starting cost sits pretty at $27,495. Some local state incentives can take that price even closer to €19,000. Toyota FT-Se expected performance numbers are out ahead of Nürburgring run

Last week Toyota “unveiled” the FT-Se concept, and by “unveiled” we mean it showed us some pretty pictures and that was about it. In the meantime, we heard that it will go into production “after 2026”, which is a long time from now and fits in nicely with the lack of information around it. Today however we do get a few pieces of the puzzle, regarding the FT-Se’s performance numbers. Toyota expects it to do 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, and the top speed should be around 250 km/h. Stellantis and UAW reach an agreement

After a whirlwind of strikes and heated negotiations, Stellantis can finally breathe a sigh of relief, having reached a tentative contract agreement with the United Auto Workers (UAW). Stellantis has committed to a pay increase of over 33% for its employees. With cost-of-living adjustments and compounding factored in, this translates to an effective raise of 11%. Additionally, the assembly plant in Belvidere, Illinois, will be brought back to life to churn out midsize trucks.
