ChargePoint is now deploying NACS compatible EV chargers to its network

Following a slew of car makers, back in June ChargePoint announced that it would adopt Tesla’s NACS connector as well for its North American charging stations, and today the rollout begins. ChargePoint expects “much of the lineup” of AC and DC chargers with NACS support to be delivered over the coming month. Cable conversion kits for existing DC fast chargers will be delivered to its customers which operate the charging stations in November. Testing the Jeep Avenger: will the carmaker’s entry into the electric era be a success?

Jeep wants to sell only purely electric vehicles in Europe by 2030. However, at the time of the announcement about a year ago, the American company did not have a single electric car in its range. That changed with the Avenger, and the expectations for the first fully electric Jeep are correspondingly high. The Huawei-backed Aito has released a feature update to its compatible vehicles, delivering a couple of cool new features. Valet Parking Assistance and Smart Guard are joined by two other rather trivial additions – a new music-learning app and a new infotainment system game.
