California’s own Karma Automotive is making waves once more. Not long ago, the brand faced challenges that meant it virtually left the electric vehicle arena. Yet, with a change in leadership and a renewed focus, the Chinese-owned automaker is ready to reclaim its stake in the market. Once upon a time, Karma was a renowned early EV maker, Fisker. Cadillac Lyriq brings GM back to Europe

General Motors is stepping back onto European grounds, and it’s doing it in style. It’s making an entrance with the Cadillac Lyriq, a premium electric SUV, confidently priced at CHF 82,000 (equivalent to about €83,600). GM is now taking orders for the Cadillac Lyriq in Switzerland, with initial deliveries planned for the first half of 2024. This is just the start, too, the company intends to expand its electric fleet to Sweden, France, and a few more European countries within the next two years.
