ABB to deliver megawatt charging systems (MCS) for ferries


Charging specialist ABB is to provide what it says are is the world’s first maritime megawatt charging systems (MCS) to Auckland Transport (AT) to recharge electric ferries in and around the port at New Zealand’s largest city. The Swiss-Swedish electrical engineering and charging specialist says the charging system is expected to improve electric vessel competitiveness against fossil-fueled counterparts.

Nissan and Mitsubishi confirm investment in Renault’s Ampere EV unit
