Hyundai joins Tesla’s NACS charging standard, new models will have it next year

Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) is soon going to actually be the North American Charging Standard – see what we did there? More and more car brands have been announcing the adoption of NACS for future models over the past few months, and today it was Hyundai’s turn. Starting in the fourth quarter of next year (between October and December), new Hyundai cars sold in the US will come with the NACS charging port. BMW teases the iX2 in Fortnite

The BMW X2 series is about to debut next week and we’ve already seen a short teaser from the company’s Instagram page. Today’s teaser is a bit more extensive, though, and quite unorthodox too. BMW has built an entire island in Fortnite with lots of easter eggs scattered throughout the island. Toyota and LG Energy agree on a major battery supply deal in the US

Toyota, still trailing in the electric vehicle race, announced a significant move forward. The automaker has inked a long-term battery supply agreement with LG Energy Solution, giving it the juice it needs to drive its electric dreams in the US. Starting in 2025, Toyota’s future US-assembled electric vehicles will be powered by LG Energy Solution cells, to the tune of 20 GWh every year.
