Toyota’s much hyped solid-state batteries will only be produced in limited quantity

Toyota shared its ambitious plans to produce next-gen and solid-state batteries with extended range back in September, but reportedly, the solid-state batteries will be in short supply initially. The latest report has it only a few thousand units will be produced using the breakthrough technology.
Or maybe “breakthrough” is a bit overstated.
