EVgo transitions to kWh pricing model throughout the US (where legally allowed, of course)


Fast charging network EVgo has announced a shift in its pricing model that expands kilowatt-hour (kWh) charging rates to each and every US state that allows it. By charging for the amount of energy used rather than the time spent charging, EVgo looks to incentivize EV drivers to spend less, while still utilizing a time-of-use component to alleviate some strain on the grid. Xiaomi hiring EREV engineers for car team

Xiaomi recently posted some job openings on its official website in China looking for a wide range of engineers. Of particular interest is the listing for engineers working on EREVs as well as people familiar with internal combustion systems, air intake and exhaust systems. Looking for such personnel suggests Xiaomi is preparing an EREV vehicle to come alongside its EV or that the company is going to introduce an EREV version of its future Xiaomi MS11 car. Ford introduces the F-150 Lightning Flash

Ford just announced a fresh addition to its electric fleet, the F-150 Lightning Flash. The all-electric F-150 Lightning is getting another version that will make the long range battery more affordable than ever. It upgrades on the XLT model with the extended-range battery that boasts an EPA range of 515 km. The Flash also comes with Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.
