Finnish state takes control of Valmet and Ioncor

The country of Finland will become the majority owner of domestic supplier and contract manufacturer Valmet Automotive. Zeekr Group deliveries up 10.61% to 44,843 in Aug with Zeekr brand declining

The Zeekr brand delivered 17,626 cars in August, down 2.16 percent year-on-year. Lynk & Co delivered 27,217 units, up 20.81 percent year-on-year.
From January to August, Zeekr Group delivered 333,913 vehicles, a 14.61 percent year-on-year growth.

Huawei-backed Aito to start pre-sales of updated M7 SUV on Sept 5

The updated Aito M7 made its debut at the 2025 Chengdu auto show starting August 29, with its official market launch set for September 23.
Currently, the Aito M7 only comes in EREV variants, with starting prices ranging from RMB 249,800 ($35,020) to RMB 329,800.
