Dongfeng expects to begin mass production of solid-state batteries offering 1,000 km range in Sept 2026

These solid-state batteries feature an energy density of 350 Wh/kg, and Dongfeng has already put a 0.2 GWh pilot line into operation.
Dongfeng is also developing 350 Wh/kg all-solid-state batteries supporting fast charging, with pilot production expected by December 2027.
