Xpeng is working to integrate its Turing chip into some of Volkswagen’s models planned for launch in China next year, according to the Financial Times.
The company is also in discussions to supply chips to other automakers.
Nio signs new distributor deal to enter 3 more European markets
Nio has signed a distributor deal with Greek company Motodynamics to sell Nio and Firefly brand vehicles in Greece, Cyprus, and Bulgaria.
Last week, Nio announced it had reached distributor partnership agreements to enter seven new European markets.

Leapmotor began pre-sales of the updated C16 earlier this month, with a starting price of RMB 169,800 ($23,640).
