BYD’s 2 new car carriers with 9,200-vehicle capacity begin sea trials
The BYD Xi’an and BYD Changsha car carriers have entered the sea trial phase and are set to enter service soon.
Another BYD car carrier, the BYD Shenzhen with a capacity of 9,200 vehicles, arrived in Brazil during its maiden voyage at the end of last month.

CATL and BYD’s combined EV battery installations in January-April totaled 171 GWh, accounting for 55.4 percent of the global total.
