Chinese government attempts to limit inland price wars

The Chinese government is getting involved in the wave of discounts for electric cars triggered by BYD. At a meeting organised by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the relevant authorities in Beijing at the beginning of this week car manufacturers were urged caution. Morning Midas was transporting about 3,000 cars from several Chinese automakers, including Chery and Great Wall Motor, according to Bloomberg.

Finn signs framework deal for 5,000 EVs from BYD

The German car subscription provider Finn has concluded a framework agreement with BYD for the delivery of up to 5,000 vehicles over the next ten months.
