
Vulcan Energy has received approval to build its commercial lithium extraction plant in Landau, Germany. In its first phase, the facility is expected to produce several thousand tonnes of lithium chloride, which will then be transported to Frankfurt-Höchst for further processing into battery-grade lithium hydroxide.
