With the ID.3, Volkswagen launched its first electric car based on the MEB platform five years ago – and initially received plenty of (justified) criticism for build quality, hard-plastic interiors and an unworthy number of software bugs. Now the Cupra Tavascan shows what is possible with the MEB in 2025: nothing less than a remarkably good – though not perfect – electric car.
