The Model Y with rear-wheel drive is Tesla’s most basic SUV. Opting for the Model Y RWD means more than just omitting the front motor. The battery is also smaller, offers less range and uses completely different technology. But the price is noticeably lower and convinced nearly a quarter of Tesla buyers in Germany.
