Tesla partners with BYD’s FinDreams for energy storage Megafactory in Shanghai

Tesla is expanding its energy storage business in China by partnering with BYD’s battery-making unit, FinDreams. This is Tesla’s first venture into energy storage manufacturing outside the US, with the new Megafactory being built in Shanghai. Komatsu debuts battery-electric small-class bolter and jumbo drill


Komatsu, a Japanese manufacturer of construction, forestry, mining, military and industrial equipment, has announced that the second generation of its small-class drill and bolting equipment will include battery-electric models. Factorial delivers 106+ amp-hour solid-state cells to Mercedes-Benz to validate for EV use

Seven months after shipping out A-samples of its 100+ amp-hour (Ah) solid-state battery cells to automotive partners, Factorial Inc. is sending more energy-dense B-samples to Mercedes-Benz.
