BYD Xi’an to carry 7,000 cars to Europe on maiden voyage
About 7,000 NEVs are being loaded onto the BYD Xi’an car carrier, which will sail to countries including the UK, Italy, Spain, and Belgium, BYD said.
The BYD Xi’an was delivered to BYD and began its maiden voyage on June 21.

China sees 33% drop in car imports in Jan-May, with US cars plummeting 48%
In January-May, China imported 180,000 cars, down 33 percent year-on-year, marking a rare sharp decline for January-May in recent years.
During this period, imports of US cars to China dropped to 18,849 units, a year-on-year decrease of 48 percent, with the decline continuing in May.
