The Model Y saw year-on-year declines in China retail sales for six out of the first eight months, ahead of the deliveries of the six-seat Model Y L that began earlier this month.
From January to August, Model Y retail sales in China totaled 241,670 units, down 16.51 percent year-on-year.

Nio Aug deliveries breakdown: ET5 Touring surpasses ES6 for 3rd consecutive month
The ET5 Touring delivered 4,315 units in August, maintaining its position as Nio’s top-selling model by monthly volume.
Since deliveries began in June 2019, the ES6 had been Nio’s highest-selling model by monthly volume in the vast majority of months over the past several years.
