BYD to add long-range variants to 4 affordable hybrid models

BYD will roll out longer range versions for the Qin Plus DM-i, Qin L DM-i, Seal 05 DM-i, and Seal 06 DM-i, with battery ranges exceeding 210 km.
This doubles the battery range of comparable PHEV models, enabling a week’s worth of usage on a single charge.
Xpeng to also launch updated G6 and G9 on Jan 8, besides updated P7+ and G7 EREV

Xpeng hinted the updated G6 and G9 SUVs will adopt its in-house developed Turing AI chip.
