BYD will delay mass production at its Hungarian EV plant until 2026 and will operate the plant below capacity for at least the first 2 years, according to Reuters.
BYD will start production at its factory in Turkey earlier than expected, where labor costs are lower, and output will significantly exceed its announced production plan.
Farasis to launch pilot production of solid-state batteries by end of 2025

Nio Inc, which includes the Nio, Onvo, and Firefly brands, saw insurance registrations of 4,900 units in China last week, up 19.51 percent from 4,100 in the previous week.
Tesla’s insurance registrations in China decreased by 19.32 percent last week compared to 12,270 in the previous week.
