Tai 7 is expected to target a broader family user base with a larger size than Tai 3.
China NEV retail at 202,000 in Jun 1-8, up 40% year-on-year
The penetration rate of NEVs in retail sales was 58.8 percent during the June 1-8 period, and 49.78 percent year-to-date.
Year-to-date, China’s passenger NEV cumulative retail sales totaled 4.559 million units, up 34 percent year-on-year.

CATL’s market share in May increased by 3.44 percentage points compared to April, while BYD’s share decreased by 3.86 percentage points.
In May, China’s power battery installation volume totaled 57.1 GWh, up 43.1 percent year-on-year and up 5.5 percent sequentially.

In May, China’s NEV sales reached 1,307,000 units, up 36.9 percent year-on-year, according to CAAM data.
NEV exports in May reached a record 212,000 units, up 120 percent year-on-year.
