WeRide secures investment from Grab to expedite robotaxi deployment in Southeast Asia
Grab will invest tens of millions of dollars in WeRide, with the transaction expected to close by the first half of 2026.

Nio Firefly begins first deliveries in Europe, making official entry into global markets
Firefly’s first deliveries in Europe took place on August 14 in Norway and the Netherlands.
Firefly also plans to enter six countries — Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Hungary, Portugal, and Greece — and expand to more regions by the end of the year.

In the second quarter, Li Auto delivered 111,074 cars, exceeding the reduced guidance provided by Li Auto on June 27.
In the first seven months of the year, Li Auto delivered 234,669 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 2.21 percent.

Hesai to supply LiDARs to Toyota’s joint venture in China
Hesai did not mention the name of the Toyota joint venture, but said that the automaker’s models equipped with its ATX LiDAR will go into mass production in 2026.
