Rivian widens Q3 loss

Rivian Automotive has reported a wider net loss for the third quarter of 2025, as the US electric vehicle maker continues to invest heavily in its next-generation R2 platform, new production capacity, and its autonomy roadmap. Global EV battery market share in Jan-Sept 2025: CATL 36.6%, BYD 17.9%

CATL and BYD collectively installed 442.2 GWh of EV batteries from January to September 2025, accounting for 54.5 percent of the global total.
South Korea’s LG Energy Solution maintained its third-place position with a 9.8 percent market share during the January-September period.
BYD plans to launch its ultra-luxury brand Yangwang in Middle East by early 2026

BYD showcased the Yangwang U8 to local customers during a new store opening in the UAE in September 2024.
Yangwang represents one of the most premium brands developed by a Chinese automaker.
EnBW to reduce charging prices in December

Zeekr launches updated X compact SUV with longer range and lower prices

The updated Zeekr X starts at RMB 145,800 ($20,460) after limited-time incentives, offering over 530 km of CLTC range.

Seres falls in Hong Kong stock market debut

As of press time, Seres was down 4.79 percent in Hong Kong morning trading, with a market capitalization of HK$217 billion ($27.9 billion).
