Bulgaria targets installing 10,000 charging points

Hitachi to install depot chargers for BVG buses in Berlin

Hitachi Energy has received an order from Berlin’s public transport operator BVG to deliver charging infrastructure. Hitachi Energy will retrofit two bus depots with its Grid-eMotion Fleet system in the course of BVG’s bus electrification program. Northvolt to build battery factory in Germany

The Swedish battery cell manufacturer Northvolt has announced another battery factory, this time in Germany. ‘Northvolt Drei’ is to be built in Heide in Schleswig-Holstein and will have an annual production capacity of 60 GWh. Ford shares plans for several more EVs in Europe and a JV to build a massive commercial vehicle battery plant in Turkey


American automaker Ford Motor Company, has outlined plans to expedite its push for EVs in Europe, promising nine all-electric models by 2024, seven of which are new to a lineup that already includes the Mustang Mach-E followed by the E-Transit next quarter.
